By Stéphanie Baechler, Swiss artist and textile designer.
Fabric project was inspired by random curtains, creased blankets, and wrapped objects, Baechler arranged plain fabrics compositions, photographed them and than printed it on fabric. The result is fabric printed on fabric, intriguing collages with various color combinations, textures, and shapes that create visual illusion and a fusion of 2D & 3D, all printed into wearable fabrics.

For this couture collection, Van Peski’s was strongly influenced by the textile sculptures from the 1970’s and specifically the macramé-technique.That was her starting point to construct pieces of clothing out of cord and yarn, straight from the body and using only one type of knot.

The Last Resort by British photographer Martin Parr.

Shows families on vacations in New Brighton. The work was highly controversial when first published in 1985, recognizing Parr for his satirical observations of society.

Parr's view is a stunning satire on 1980's lower classes of Britain. Although sometimes his point of view comes across arrogant, with his vivid color and overload detailed compositions, the fact remains that these people are having fun.
